About me
I am the current chair and full professor at the Department of Public and Community Health at Liberty University. I have my master’s in science in Health Sciences in Epidemiology and a Ph. D in Public Health-Epidemiology. I specialize in Social Behavioral Epidemiology and Sexually Transmitted Infections. I teach biostatistics, epidemiological research methods, environmental health, and medical terminology en Español. I have published and presented various research projects ranging from community needs assessments to sexually infections risk factors at various annual conferences such as APHA, SOPHE, and ACE. My current research involves nutritional habits and food insecurities in Zacapa Guatemala and access to health care barriers to underserved populations.
